The Path of the Wounded Healer
“The wound is the place where the light enters you.” – Rumi
Join us for a reflective and insightful evening as therapist and teacher Lindsay Percival explores the ancient and profound archetype of the wounded healer. Recognised across spiritual, philosophical, and psychological traditions, this path invites us to understand how our deepest wounds can become the very places where wisdom, compassion, and growth take root.
Drawing on decades of therapeutic work with trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, and dissociative disorders, Lindsay will introduce a model she has developed to illuminate the challenges and pitfalls that can arise on the journey of spiritual awakening.
This will be an interactive evening, with Lindsay welcoming questions and discussion throughout, creating a warm and engaging space to explore these themes together.
We will reflect on topics such as:
- Spiritual bypassing – when spirituality becomes a way to avoid, rather than engage with, our wounds
- Projection of pain – how unhealed struggles can spill into our relationships and affect others
- Authentic growth – embracing our humanity alongside our spiritual practice
Whether you are simply curious, seeking personal insight, or working as a medium or healer, this evening offers a welcoming space to deepen your understanding of personal and spiritual development.
Understanding the path of the wounded healer allows us to face our own humanity with honesty, compassion, and courage. We hope you’ll join us for this enriching and thought-provoking event.
